Donate Now!
If you want to give a boost to the causes that the Terra Nova Fund seeks to support, please consider making a donation. There are several ways to donate:
- Donors may opt to make a “one-stop” general contribution—one that supports all the organizations that the Fund seeks to assist in a given year.
- But if you want to support one or more, but not necessarily all, of the organizations on the Fund’s target list, you can opt to either make a donation directly to the organization you wish to donate to or you can opt to make a “donor’s choice” contribution through the Terra Nova Fund by earmarking your contribution(s) for one or more of the specific causes that the Fund seeks to support this year.
- You can use your credit card to make an online donation by following the instructions below: Follow the link: https://www.canadahelps.org/dn/13733 At the heading “Select the fund your donation will support,” choose “Terra Nova Fund” from the scroll-down list and then hit return on your keyboard. In the “Message” field, indicate whether you are making a general donation or whether you wish to make an earmark donation and then specify what organization(s) from our “Targeted Beneficiaries” list you would like to support. Complete the information fields requested on the payment and tax receipt forms. When finished, submit the form by pressing the “Complete Donation Now” button.
- If you wish to make a donation by check, make it payable to: Community Foundation of P.E.I. Terra Nova Fund of PEI and send it to: Community Foundation of Prince Edward Island, 53 Water Street, Charlottetown, PE C1A 1A3
If you have any questions or need assistance making your donation contact the CFPEI at Phone: (902) 892-3440
Remember, all gifts, no matter the size, go to work in support of the targeted organization(s). Gifts that are channelled through the Community Foundation of PEI for the benefit of the Terra Nova Fund are considered by the government as a tax deductible gift and consequently every contribution is acknowledged with a charitable receipt by the Community Foundation of PEI.
Donors are advised to consult with their tax accountant or lawyer, as an individual’s specific tax rules and obligations may vary from year to year.
